Acting as a shelter for grizzly bears and gray wolves that are unable to be released into the wild, the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center provides visitors a chance to see these animals in their natural environments as well as explore a museum-style exhibit on grizzly bears. The Gallatin Pack of gray wolves are housed in an outdoor area where they interact with one another as they would in the wild, with a rigid hierarchy and social structure. The 2-acre outdoor grizzly habitat features a rotating group of the grizzly bears that can be seen foraging for hidden food, climbing trees or fishing for trout in one of two ponds. The center sits in West Yellowstone, located directly to the west of Yellowstone National Park in Montana.
Open daily, 8:00 a.m. - dusk.
Adults $9.75; Seniors (62+) $9; Children (5-12) $5; Children under 5 are free.
